Welcome to my blog, If you dont know anything about me and you would like to learn more check out the about page. Anyways i am going to move forward. This is my new blog which is solely focused on making money online. I will be very cutthroat in my opinions and my wording because it makes a greater statement, and yes you might see and occasional typo, this is something i will be updating when i have time, which in the life of an “internet hustler”, there is no time for anything. So again, welcome, come join us!
Now, Adbrite. Im up late right now its about 5 AM im working on monetizing my Free Proxy Hosting’s traffic. I have been playing with my adbrite account the last few days and a noticed a few things which i find useful for people who might think adbrite is a waste of time/money/quality traffic.
- When Making your adbrite tag, for what ever section you created, ALWAYS…ALWAYS..put in a default code, with at least a 0.02 CPM in it. Why? Because if adbrite tries to serve something with a disgusting CPM, It will check first what pays more, if the campaign adbrite was gonna serve is lower than 0.02 CPM it will kick it to the default tag you put in for that tag. it works, it allows me to ensure i get more than a 0.02 CPM on everything.
- Top notch? People ask all the time…is Adbrite the best network for me. Well buddy, it depends on the traffic you have. Just like when you go out to eat, if you have a lot of money to spare, you go to a good place to eat, you have little money, well we are going to mcDonald’s. Adbrite is the McDonald’s of ad networks. If you have any kind of inventory, it will take it. Which makes them a universal network which ANYONE and EVERYONE can use. That can be good and bad. Remember.
- Like i mentioned earlier, Tier your Networks. Put them in an order which makes you the most money, if you dont tier them, you will get stuck making less. 1 thing networks dont mention to their publishers, is there is always a decrepancy in using teired marketing strategies. Going from tag to tag, to tag, through a few different ad serving codes, sometimes you loose a serve here and there. Those add up. So that is a big down side. If you use a really good network, or a network made for that, you should see a reduced descrepancy rate. AdsDaq is a good example. They allow you to set floor CPM’s and run Defaults if they cant meet the asking price.
- Approve all your ads by hand! Best way to fine tune your Adbrite results, approve everything you run manually. You can better tune your earnings by doing that. Also you dont want to run ads which might have viruses or malware embedded in them and all networks have that possibility unfortunately due to crooked advertisers.
There ya go, thats my quick adbrite ramble i gotta get back to work for now, but keep thos things in mind about adbrite. Some of the idea’s behind that can also be used universally with other networks. Just know your networks TOS pretty well and you should be okay.
